From the moment I could hold a crayon, I knew I wanted to put my creative mark on the world. Whether it was drawing, painting, throwing on the pottery wheel, or hammering together makeshift masterpieces from scrap wood, I've always had a knack for turning the ordinary into something extraordinary.

This childhood passion only intensified as I grew older, leading me to pursue a degree in Studio Art with a focus on Illustration at Grand Valley State University.

After graduation, I found myself diving headfirst into a career in Graphic Design—despite having no clue what I was doing. Turns out, it was one of the best decisions I ever made as I discovered a newfound love for digital creativity and design.

Yet, after years of mastering pixels and vectors, I always felt like something was missing. I missed putting pencil to paper and paint on canvas (although most of it always ends up all over me), and the joy of creating something by hand.

Fast forward a few years (and after having two beautiful twins), I found myself craving that creative outlet more than ever.

I dusted off my brushes, set up my easel, and got back to doing what I love: painting. And let me tell you, there's nothing quite like the feeling of putting brush to canvas and seeing a work of art come to life.

Which brings me to where I am today: ready to embark on a new chapter in my artistic journey. I'm on a mission to share my love for traditional art with the world, one brushstroke at a time.
